Effortlessly elegant, the MIMOSA blazer is the highlight of the Fauve Romance collection. Its straight cut is well constructed with 2-part sleeves, a small side, a false piped welt breast pocket and very large rounded patch pockets the design of which is reminiscent of a shawl collar and softens the slightly boyish look of this jacket with its reworked volume and marked shoulders.

Skill level: INTERMEDIATE the technical aspects are sewing the darts, sewing the shawl collar, patch pocket, making a faux welt pocket, putting in the shoulder pads and assembling a lining.

Recommended fabric and notions
Medium weight wool, tweed, jacquard, gabardine, denim, fabrics weighing approximately 200 to 350g/m2 in order to highlight the straight cut and the line of the collar and shoulders. For the lining, I recommend choosing a specific fabric for the linings, such as our 100% cupro lining which is smooth and more breathable than polyester.
