Our Japanese seersucker is a light and characterful woven fabric with a softly crinkled texture and a relaxed, airy feel. The surface has a gentle puckered structure, which gives the fabric beautiful depth while also helping it sit slightly away from the skin - making it especially comfortable for warm-weather garments.
This quality has a lovely balance between softness and structure. It is not stiff, but it has enough body to hold simple silhouettes, gathered details and softly shaped garments beautifully. The texture also makes it easy to wear, as it naturally has a casual, slightly lived-in look and does not need to appear perfectly pressed.

It's one of those fabrics where you don't really understand the unique touch and feel, until you touch it, so when you receive the samples, notice both the texture and the handle: the small puckers are what give seersucker its charm, comfort and distinctive Japanese feel - not to mention the silky soft touch.

Perfect for shirts, blouses, summer tops, dresses, skirts, loose trousers, shorts and lightweight layering pieces. A beautiful quality for garments that should feel easy, breathable and special without being too delicate.

Daisy is a soft and elegant cupro satin with a beautiful sand-washed finish. The surface has a smooth, peach-like touch and a subtle matte sheen, giving it a refined silk-inspired look without being overly glossy. The fabric is lightweight, breathable and comfortable to wear, with a fluid drape that falls beautifully around the body. Its soft movement makes it especially suitable for garments with gentle gathers, flowing shapes and relaxed silhouettes.

The sand-washed surface gives Daisy a slightly brushed, suede-like feel while still allowing the satin finish to catch the light in a delicate, understated way. It is a lovely choice for dresses, skirts, blouses, shirts, camisoles and other garments where softness, drape and comfort are important.
Because of the sand-washed finish, this fabric does not slide very easily against other fabrics, so it is not recommended for use as lining.

Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from cotton linter — the very fine, silky fibres that remain around the cotton seed after the longer cotton fibres have been removed for spinning. These tiny cotton fibres are too short to be used for regular cotton yarn, but they can be transformed into a smooth, luxurious fibre with a soft hand feel and beautiful drape.
Daisy is made from Bemberg™ cupro, a premium cupro fibre produced by Asahi Kasei. Bemberg™ is made from cotton linter, a pre-consumer material from the cottonseed oil process, helping make use of a part of the cotton plant that would otherwise have limited textile use. It is produced in a controlled closed-loop system, where key chemicals used in the process are recovered and reused. The result is a soft, breathable and biodegradable fibre with an elegant drape and a silk-like feel against the skin.
