TERMS OF SERVICE WHEN SHOPPING FROM METERMETER

When you shop at www.metermeter.dk you automatically accept the following terms and conditions.

ORDERING & PAYMENT
All prices on www.metermeter.dk are listed in DKK or EUR and include 25% VAT.

Once we have received your order, you will receive an order confirmation via email with the order number and an overview of your order. Always check and keep this as a reference for your order. Contact us immediately if there are errors in the order confirmation. Should there unexpectedly be items in your order that are out of stock, we will contact you.
In the online shop, you can pay securely online with the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, MobilePay, and PayPal. When you place an order, the amount will be reserved and charged from your account when the order is shipped. No higher amount can ever be charged than what you approved at the time of purchase.

Gift cards can be redeemed in the online shop at checkout.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We strive to pack and ship your order as quickly as possible - usually the same day you order (before 14:00). All orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays will be dispatched the next business day. There may be periods related to holidays, special events, or campaigns where delivery time may be longer. If we cannot send your order within 1-2 business days, we will contact you.

Shipping and delivery worldwide is carried out by PostNord, who cooperates with the local postal service in the destination country, who will handle delivery.

The shipping cost depends on the destination country, and will be calculated in checkout.

The delivery times is normally 4-7 days within Europe and 10-14 days for overseas destinations. Possible delays that may occur in the handling of the shipment after we have handed it over to PostNord must be taken into account. You can also choose to pick up your order at our address. When you order for pickup, you will receive an email when the order is ready for pickup. 

When your package is shipped, you will receive an email with information about the tracking number, so you can follow the package’s journey to you.

VOEC NORWAY
METERMETER is VOEC-registered in Norway. When you order on www.metermeter.dk, you therefore pay VAT, and no additional VAT will be applied to the shipment in Norway.

CANCELLATION RIGHT & RETURNS
We want our customers to be satisfied with their purchase, so if for any reason you are not satisfied with the ordered item(s), you can return them and get a refund.
We offer a 14-day full return policy from the day you receive your items. The return policy also applies to fabric ordered and cut to special measurements, but does not apply to cut remnants and discounted items.
For returns, you must always present a receipt or order confirmation. If you wish to cancel your purchase, you must notify this in writing by sending an email to shop@metermeter.dk. Please describe why you wish to return the item.
The products must be returned to METERMETER, and you must bear the costs of sending the item to METERMETER:

Returned items MUST be sent directly to the address above. Returned items sent to a pickup point or similar will be rejected.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS
The right of cancellation can only be exercised if the item is returned in substantially the same condition and quantity. The right of cancellation therefore lapses if you use the item in a way that clearly and significantly reduces the item’s sales value.
As the original packaging in some cases constitutes a significant part of the item’s value, it may mean that the item cannot be considered returned in substantially the same condition and quantity if the packaging does not follow, or is damaged.
Items you wish to return must be unused and in original, unbroken, and intact packaging. 

The responsibility for returned items passes to METERMETER upon receipt of the item. Pack the item securely and send it as an insured package with if you want tracking, insurance, and confirmation of receipt of the returned items. Remember to keep your shipping receipt as proof that the items have been sent and handed over to the shipping company. I
f you return the entire order, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs. For uncollected packages or packages where receipt is refused, the return costs will be deducted from the amount refunded. Once we have received and approved the return, we will credit the purchase amount to the payment method you used when purchasing. It can take up to 14 days for the amount to be refunded to your account.

MISTAKES IN DELIVERY
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, we will of course cover the shipping costs for both the original delivery and the return. Send an email to shop@metermeter.dk as soon as you discover the mistake so we can send/replace the item.

CANCELLATION RIGHT FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS/PATTERNS
There is no cancellation right for digital items. By purchasing digital products/patterns and accepting our terms and conditions, you also accept that your 14-day cancellation right for the digital product lapses.

WARRANTY
All items are covered by the provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act on a 24-month warranty. The warranty means that as a customer you can complain about defects and deficiencies in the item that have arisen within 24 months after purchase. You must complain within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect/deficiency. The warranty does not cover when defects, damages, or wear arise due to incorrect use, incorrect washing and care of textiles, lack of maintenance, or ordinary wear and tear. For complaints, defects, and deficiencies, or if deliveries are missing, contact us at shop@metermeter.dk. An approved complaint will of course be credited with the costs incurred in connection with the return of the item.

PATTERNS ONLY SOLD WITH YARN
Patterns that are only sold with yarn are sent via email. Orders for patterns without accompanying yarn will be canceled, and any reserved amount for the product and shipping will be canceled.

DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS
Only apply to items in stock. Do not apply to gift card purchases or shipping and delivery costs.

SECURITY
All communication between the payment system and the cardholder on www.metermeter.dk takes place via an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer). Thus, only the payment provider has access to your data, and neither METERMETER nor others have the opportunity to see the data exchanged during the purchase. RESERVATIONS
We reserve the right for printing errors, typing errors, and out-of-stock items. We do not take responsibility for minor deviations in colors or other specifications indicated in the online shop, and this will not be considered a fault on the part of METERMETER and will not trigger any refund of costs, either in connection with the original delivery or with the return. The stated specifications (material, weight, dimensions, etc.) on www.metermeter.dk are the manufacturer’s or designer’s indications. If an item in these respects does not meet expectations, our general return policy applies.
