Recommended fabric and notions
For the top version, I would recommend viscose, polyester, or crepe for a fluid drape. For a more structured drape, you can use cotton poplin or chambray. If you are brave, you can even try a stretch fabric!

For the dress version, to showcase the slightly A-line shape of the dress, I would recommend: cotton poplin, chambray, or crepe. For a more wintery version, you can use a light wool.
