The Baggen Hat and Mittens are worked in stranded colour knitting. The hat and the mittens have different tensions and are therefore worked on needles of different sizes.

TENSION	Hat: 24 sts and 28 rows over colour-work pattern in stocking stitch using 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm Mittens: 27 sts and 30 rows over colour-work pattern in stocking stitch using 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (measured after washing).
