For Fremstrikk, Laura Dalgaard designed the Nordic Mix Sweater — a two-colour patterned sweater inspired by traditional knitwear from the Nordic countries.

“I was primarily inspired by the yarn itself, Fivel. I wanted to create a mash-up of different traditional patterns and give them new life.”

Laura found old images of patterned knit sweaters, which she cut apart and reassembled into one design featuring a mix of different motifs and traditions.
