Streymoy Knit Socks

The Streymoy Socks are worked top down, from cuff to toe, in a textured pattern with a unique heel construction.

Increases are worked centrally on the back of the leg to create a stocking-stitched triangle; the heel turn is then worked with a few short rows, after which decreases are worked at either side of the sole stitches.

The foot is worked in a textured pattern and stocking stitch, and the toe in stocking stitch with decreases.

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES	Strømpepinde: 2,5 mm
MATERIALS	Merino from Kit Couture (50 g = 210 m) 100 g
TENSION	34 sts and 48 rows over textured pattern using 2.5 mm needles = 10 X 10 cm (measured after washing and blocking).
