But don’t be fooled: the volume, length, and shaping darts transform it into a truly charming blouse that will quickly become a staple in your handmade wardrobe. And if you’re after a more pared-back look, you can also sew a collarless version for a clean, modern finish.

Recommended fabric and notions
Opt for soft, lightweight fabrics between 70 and 200 g/m² that press well with an iron - this will make finishing the collar and sleeve cuff turns up much easier. Poplin, crepe, voile, twill, lightweight denim or chambray all work beautifully, in fibres such as cotton, viscose, linen, Tencel™, or even silk.
