The Aluk Christmas Elf Hat is worked bottom up in the round. You begin by working a rib border. Then you work in colour-work pattern according to chart and continue in plain stocking stitch while decreasing to make the top. Finally a pompom is joined to the very top of the hat.

RECOMMENDED NEEDLES	Circular needles: 3 mm and 3.5 mm (40 cm) Double pointed needles: 3.5 mm
MATERIALS	Kit Couture Highland Mini (50 g = 175 m) Col A: 100 g (both sizes) Col B: 50 g (both sizes) Col C: 50 g (both sizes)
TENSION	27 sts and 30 rows over colour-work pattern on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (measured after washing).
