Double Chocolate Cotton/Linen Stripe

A cosy wide stripe in tones of chestnut and cool dark brown.
This cloth would make beautiful skirts, dresses, tops and shirts. It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains.

Pre-washed at the mill.
2cm wide stripe that runs parallel to the selvedge.
These Indian fabrics are sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave which is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

For the first couple of washes, we recommend placing the fabric in the washing machine drum at 30 or 40 degrees with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.

We strongly recommend that you always pre-wash/pre-treat your fabric before cutting and sewing, the same way you intend to wash your finished garment.
