Sandoy Knit Mittens

The Sandoy Mittens are worked in the round from the bottom up in a cabled pattern with a ribbed cuff. Increases are made for the thumb, after which the work is divided and the hand is worked with decreases at the top. Finally, the thumb is worked.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS	Hand circumference: 17 (19) cm Hand length: approx. 18 (20) cm
RECOMMENDED NEEDLES	Double pointed needles: 4 mm Cable needle Stitch holder or waste yarn for the thumb
MATERIALS	Kit Couture Tweed (50 g = 85 m) 100 g (both sizes)
TENSION	20 sts and 28 rows in cable pattern on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm (measured after washing).
