Sandoy Knit Sweater

Sandoy Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a combination of cables and moss stitch following a chart. Front and back are worked separately and joined at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked back and forth from the top down, after which the sleeve and side seams are sewn together with mattress stitch. Finally, the neckband is worked.
